Wild

Don’t be wild, mother warned
Wild means reckless, careless
Wild children are rebellious, disobedient
Wild youth are addicts, failures

Don’t be wild, pastor warned
Wild means selfish, godless
Wild girls are immodest, impure
Wild women are unsubmissive, slutty

Don’t be wild, teacher warned
Wild means chaos, detention
Wild students are disruptive, disrespectful
Wild employees are uncooperative, unhireable

But that’s not what wild means
Wild means free

  4. This reminds me of the book I mentioned a long time ago….. Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype….. Women Who Run With The Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes Wild can be free for sure, loved this book. I refer to it lots and underline stuff. It talks about a river that is running underneath the woman. Keep on writing !! ❤ carla

    • I remember you mentioning it before. It sounds really interesting, and like something I would enjoy. I just added it to my Amazon wish list. 🙂

Thank you, Carla! You’re always so sweet and encouraging. ❤
